What a difference a couple of months make, I had my new Solbra up to Foster’s Grille back in early July and then again on September 30th. In July when it’s normally too hot and there’s always that chance of rain there were about 25 cars in attendance, but on September 30 there was over three times the cars and if someone stopped by and then left early their parking spot was instantly filled by another car. The Hot Chili Rods of Cape Coral FL, a local car club has been going to Foster’s Grille weekly on every Wednesday from 5-8pm for some time now. The start of snowbird season brings in a lot of changes in southern Florida, and last night because of a mild cold front our humidity was to drop and we were suppose to go down to about 68 for our low, and this would be the lowest temperature we have had in over five months. Foster’s brought in a four piece band to entertain the crowd, and as everyone arrives in their car each person is handed a ticket for a chance at some door prizes which are given away later in a drawing, plus they sell 50/50 tickets and on this date that prize at 50% was $83.00 for the winner. If you plan on visiting southern Florida this winter stop by Foster’s for their Charburger and a look at all the cars which will be assembled out in front in Foster’s parking lot located at 728 SW Pine Island Rd.
