Mrs. Crahan purchased this vehicle new in Modesto, California. She later moved to Groves, Texas to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Phares, at 3037 Lay Avenue, and brought the Corvette with her.
Upon purchase, this Corvette became Mrs. Crahan’s only car, and she drove it almost every day for most of the remainder of her life until her death a few months short of her 94th birthday. She was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery off Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas.
After her death, the vehicle was shipped back to California to her granddaughter, Mrs. Sheri Fiore. It later returned to Houston, and I purchased it January 5th, 2007, and brought it back to this area.
