Finally I finished the floor!!!

My wife Barbara and I swept the floor several times before laying out the floor.

The roll of flooring came wrapped tightly with plastic on a tube.

After the plastic was removed from the flooring we carried it to the staring spot.

I started to roll the flooring out starting from the door inward. Using the block wall as a guide I rolled it evenly.

This was very easy and the floor naturally laid flat due to its thickness.

Once the floor was laid out, I used a soft broom to push out air from under the flooring.

In the tight areas against the wall I used a box cuter type knife to cut off the excess material.

In the open areas I used a pair of scissors to cut the flooring.

For the longer cuts I used a straight edge as a guide to make my edge even.

I decided to make a path of the black and white tiles instead of a boarder. The tiles are peel and stick and are very easy to work with.

I used a dumbbell weight to make sure the tiles gripped to the floor.

Now it was time to roll out the next section of flooring. Once again it was a smooth roll out and I fitted it right up to the tiles nicely.

Some spots were harder to trim like under the water heater. I was able to jack the heater enough to slide the flooring under the front legs but the back need to be trimmed with the scissors.

DONT DO THIS!!!!

I was going lay out the final sheet and it was too large. I decided to cut of the excess off with my reciprocating saw. This made the material melt. Much to my luck it was able to unroll with out damaging the roll. Take you time and use a razor or a scissor.

I was supplied with a roll of carpet seam tape. I pulled back about a foot the flooring and rolled out the tape and stuck it to the back of the flooring.

With the help of my family we fitted the seams together. It was a tight fit and it fell into place!!!

The fit and finish was great. This floor looks cool!!!

The flooring was easy to work with. You can push and pull and It fits together tight.

G- floor is a free-floating floor that lies on top of your concrete. If you need to seal the floor down, you can use 3M-brand 2-sided tape on the edges. The floor is easy to clean just use a mop and any basic floor cleaner. Thanks G-Floor for a great product my garage looks great and my cars show well sitting on you product.
