Somernites Cruise, the huge monthly gathering of hot rods in Somerset, KY recently wrapped up its 2014 season and rewrote its own record books in the process. Participation by classic car owners during the past season was the best in the show’s 14 year history.

Again as I always do I attended our annual gathering of snakes, and this year it was held in my back yard.

The Smoky Mountains have always held a magical ambiance with automobile lovers. I don’t know if it’s the cool morning mountain air, the twisting turning two lane turnpikes or if it runs much deeper into to souls of anyone that’s ever visited this part of the country

Nice Turnout at the Dairy Queen in South Daytona tonight. Almost 30 cars, DQ is ALWAYS such a great host - scratch off lottery tickets, cake giveaways and special menu's just for us!

Another great show, every first Saturday of the month. Well over 200 cars once again, all after a huge thunderstorm the night before, which I'm sure kept some away this morning. A few puddles and wet grass, but most everyone was happy to get out and enjoy the tunes by DJ Frank Roberts.

The Day of the Drag Race has been a tradition in the hill country for thirteen years now. The event has endured all the bad weather Texas has to offer and managed to keep a foot hold in Texas racing history all the while.

Stopped at Delacy Ford just outside Buffalo, NY for their annual cruise-in, including a neat appearance by a very good Elvis impersonator.

The Daytona Flea Markets Monthly cruise-in attracted about 200 cars this month (October) in spite of some predictions of rain. Sponsored also by Steve's Pickle Place and DJ'd by Frank Roberts this is such a neat gathering of vehicles every month.

An active part of the St. Augustine community for the last three decades, the Ancient City Auto Club has been attracting vintage car enthusiasts since 1983.
