10th Annual Water & Wheels Car Show
Description

10th Annual Water & Wheels Car Show

Cape Harbour presented its 10th Annual “Water and Wheels” event March 11-13. Admission to this family fun event was free and open to the public.

All weekend long, the Marina at Cape Harbour displayed the best the area has to offer in an on-water and land display of unique and custom boats, cruising yachts, performance boats, sailboats, sport fishing boats, fishing tackle and boating accessories.

Cape Harbour’s restaurants geared up for the event. The Marina Club is a waterfront casual restaurant, with a nautical club atmosphere serving Mediterranean food and traditional cuisine. Rumrunners Restaurant offers award-winning waterfront views and presented their fabulous culinary creations throughout the weekend.  I even got a picture of Fathoms restaurants Bloody Mary a meal with-in the drink.

There was no shortage of custom, antique and classic cars on Sunday, March 13, as the “Classic Car Show” got under way from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot across from Rumrunners restaurant. If you would like to register for the car show, contact Jane kirkman at 239-541-1374 or email jkirkman@capeharbour.com.  The car show is the real reason I try and attend this event in this special place every year.

The Cape Harbour waterfront community features a marina with deep-water slips and waterfront homes, condominiums, vacation rentals, waterfront shops and restaurants, galleries, indoor boat storage.

To find out more, log on to www.capeharbour.com or call 239-541-1374.

As Cape Coral’s closest marina to the Gulf of Mexico, it’s just a three and one-half mile run from The Marina at Cape Harbour (just off mile marker 92) to the Gulf’s sparkling blue waters. Cape Harbour’s prime location helps boaters avoid miles of slow and no wake zones. The Marina welcomes Boat Clubs, Poker Runs and boating rendezvous for up to thirty boats. Please contact the Harbormaster for arranging accommodations. Our proximity to the Gulf and first-class amenities also make us a favorite overnight stop.

You can store your vessel indoors at The Boat House, or dock at one of 76 wet slips. Either way, when you arrive your boat will be ready to cast off.
