13th Annual Texas Style Cool Autumn Nights

The number 13 usually is an unlucky number but not so when it came time for the 13th Annual Texas Style Cool Autumn Nites held in historic downtown Beaumont, Texas.

The Friday afternoon kick-off party and registration was held at Cowboy Harley Davidson. This location gave everyone a great place to park their show vehicle, pick up their show packet and socialize for a while.

Saturday morning the downtown area of Beaumont was woke up by the sound of dual exhaust and the glare of sunlight bouncing off of chrome. The historic downtown area of Beaumont was a perfect showcase for the several hundred cars that were parked on the streets and the bricks of Crockett Street. Saturday had something for everyone, looking at really cool hot rods-customs-classics, shopping with vendors, swap meet area or just kicking back and enjoying the music.

Sunday was the really big day that all event participants had waited for thanks to a large number of awards and some great prizes. The prizes ran the gamut of a set of Budnik Wheels to something everyone likes to win, cash$$!  The awards at this show are done by class and by “best of” categories that bring out some really awesome show cars.

Thanks go out to Johnnie Andrus and the event staff for once again putting on an awesome event that always makes Texas proud. Mark your calendar for October 17-19, 2014 for the 14th Annual Texas Style Cool Autumn Nites held in downtown Beaumont. For more information call 409-769-0877 or visit www.txcoolautumnnites.com
