6th Annual CRUISIN FOR KIDS CAR SHOW
Description

The 6th Annual Cruisin for Kids car, truck & motorcycle show was held on August 9, 2014. The event was held in the parking lot at Joe Neubert Collision Center (5086 Clinton Hwy.) Knoxville, Tennessee. This annual fund-raiser purchases clothes & toys for underprivileged children for Christmas.

We had a total of 147 registered participants there was a local showing, but also vehicles from Georgia, North Carolina & Alabama. A total of 53 awards were handed out in 10 categories, plus people’s choice, best unfinished & club participation.

Even though you may not win an award, you are all winners on Christmas Day when the children are opening their presents. A lot of these kids would not get anything if it weren’t for this car show. The proceeds from this years show provided The Mission of Hope $3,748.47 & the Loudon County Family Resource Center $3,639.22.Over the last 6 years we have donated over $46,387.00 to these organizations.

Once again we had over 160 sponsors that donated door prizes, auction items, purchased our awards & t-shirts. There were 27 Volunteers that donated their time to work the day of the show. Some of those volunteers coming from Georgia & South Carolina.

Mark your calendars now to attend this year’s show. It will be on August 15, 2015 & the RAINDATE is August 22, 2015. Location is Joe Neubert Collision Center parking lot at 5086 Clinton Hwy.
