Cruise the Smokies Fall Rod Run

Cherokee, North Carolina

The 2015 Cruise The Smokies Fall Rod Run was held with a heavy heart after longtime club member and fellow street rodder Bob Smith passed away. But the Cherokee Rodders set up a temporary memorial at the event so everyone who took part in the show could pay their respects and remember Bob in a setting of the street rods that he loved. 

The parking lot was a little bit empty on Saturday morning as a late Friday night and early Saturday morning rain had everybody sleeping in. But the sun came out and so did the classic cars & trucks as they always do for this show. The Acquoni Expo Center was a perfect place to hold the rod run with the Great Smoky Mountains being a beautiful backdrop to the event site. 

The Cruise The Smokies Fall Rod Run will be held November 4-5, 2016 at the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino parking lot. For more information call 828-497-2603 or visit or and click on their events tab.
