Cruisin the beach

Cruisin’the Beach, now in its third year, had something for everyone, beginning with a great location. Myrtle Beach’s famous Broadway at the Beach provided plenty of display space for the more than 400 vehicles at the event along with dozens of shops just minutes away. That meant while the guys were immersed in car talk, the gals had lots of retail therapy opportunities. At the end of the day, everyone could enjoy the multiple restaurants and family attractions. Show promoter Rodney Buckner was thrilled with the high quality of the vehicles on display, sentiments echoed by the reps from NSRA, Goodguys, and the Vintage Street Rodders of America. After they presented their awards, Rodney presented five Elite awards, 10 Platinum awards, and 85 more to the top class winners.

Cruisin’ the Beach is known for its close ties with the community and this year, raffle proceeds in the amount of $6000 was given to the South Carolina Children’s Hospital. If you’d like to be part of a great new show with great vehicles, a great location, and serious charitable ties to the community, put Cruisin’ the Beach on your 2016 schedule. Get the details at
