PREPARE TO BE OVERWHELMED! - The Mecum Auction comes to Kissimmee

If you’ve been to a Mecum Auction, you know what we mean. If you haven’t, it’s an event that belongs on your bucket list. The world’s largest collector car auction arrived at the Osceola Heritage Park grounds in Kissimmee, Florida this January with a huge collection of vehicles on display. Even if you weren’t a buyer or a seller, the event is tailor-made for enthusiasts. Most local car shows would be happy with 500 vehicles but you could see a couple of thousand amazing vehicles waiting to cross the auction block. Most folks would love the opportunity to see an authentic concept car up close but at Mecum, there were dozens scattered around the park. Vehicle prices were affordable with some entry-level cars in the thousands. Others were available only to a select few with reserves reaching the millions. The immense lineup included everything from high-performance ’50s era muscle cars to vintage racers, European sports cars and rare exotics as well as items of Road Art and memorabilia, all auctioned off during the ten days of hard-hammering action. NBC Sports and Esquire networks televised the event and you could also access Mecum’s website, showing a complete list of consignments, updated daily, with photos and descriptions of each vehicle. For more details on the Kissimmee auction, visit for details and put this high-energy event on your ‘Can’t Miss’ list.
