Super Stroker Nova

Monty Crawford of Greeneville, Tennessee has owned this 1967 Chevy II Nova SS 2dr hardtop for 16 years. It took Monty 6 years of that time restoring and building it to get this blue bullet the way it looks now. The paint is Chrysler intense blue pearl base coat /clear coat with pin stripping done by David Richards of Twisted Image Graphics in Roanoke, VA. The interior is all SS factory style Chevrolet black. This quick little Nova runs a built from scratch 383 stroker motor that is paired up with a Richmond Gear Super T10 4-speed and a Hurst Super Shifter 3. Putting the power to the pavement is a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end featuring a Strange Engineering center section, Motion Industries 3.70 gears and Strange Engineering 31 spline axles that complete the rear end assembly. This tough as nails rear end is paired up with a Competition Engineering 3 link that is equipped with a panhard bar and Strange Engineering coil over shocks with hyper coil springs. Keeping this car from getting twisted by the stroker motor is a job handled by Competition Engineering subframe connectors. The front suspension and brakes are from Performance System Technology AKA PST. Completing the exterior SS package are the famous Chevy rally wheels equipped with BF Goodrich tires.  Monty finished the car in August of 2006 and has kept it looking great by keeping it detailed and stored when it hasn’t been at shows or a Cruise In.
