The 26th Annual Spring Break Nationals Sound Off
Description

If you’re a stereo enthusiast, you probably know all about Daytona’s Annual Spring Break Nationals Car Audio Expo and Tuner Jam, held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. More than 13,000 mobile electronics enthusiasts come from around the country to meet old friends, participate in the Great American Sound off, and learn about the latest technological advancements in the field. Judges from IASCA (the International Auto Sound Challenge Association) rate sound and installation quality of the competition vehicles, as well as checking SPL (Sound Pressure Levels) to see which vehicle really does the best job of rattling windows! Competition on a half a dozen different levels meant there was something for everybody. While some competitors won for sheer volume, others took home trophies for elegance. It was clear that the spectators enjoyed both. Add in lots of door prizes, daily Bikini competitions, pizza-eating contests, trophies, and more than 500 stereo-oriented cars and trucks on display and you have a great weekend’s worth of fun. Special thanks to presenting sponsor Realm by Scoshe and 69-Slam, associate sponsor, for their help in making this year’s event the success that it was. Take a look at some of the top contenders and add this annual event to your 2013 calendar. For more details, check out www.springbreaknationals.com .
