Volunteer State Auto Club 2015 Get Together
Description

Is there any way better to spend a beautiful summer day than hanging out with your car club members and eating great barbecue? This is exactly what happened when Volunteer State Auto Club member Roger Brown decided to hold a BBQ for the club at his home located just outside of Greeneville, Tennessee. Roger’s home in the rural east Tennessee country side was a perfect place for the get together because Roger has a great collection of automotive memorabilia that includes some really cool cars & trucks. Roger is also an expert woodworker, so you know there had to be a Woody Wagon in his collection.

A good number of club members, along with their wives and even some friends, turned out for the event with many of them driving their rods & customs. Everyone had a great time and the event wrapped up with some of the founding charter members from 1962 being presented with special plaques that recognized their special place in the club.

Thanks go out to Roger & Sally Brown for being such great hosts for this get together. Thanks to Angie & Kenneth Pinkston, owners of Big Barney’s BBQ, for catering this event with such awesome barbecue.
