the 38th Annual F100 SUPERNATIONALS Car Show

If you are a vintage truck fan with a little Ford blue flowing through your veins, then you probably know all about the F-100 Supernationals in Lebanon, Tennessee. Now in its 38th year, the event attracts drivers from around the country to this Thursday-through-Saturday show. Held at the Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon, Tennessee, the event attracted more than 550 cool classic trucks, glistening in every color of the rainbow. The Friday opening ceremonies welcomed the crowd and unveiled half a dozen freshly completed rides, seen for the first time at the event. Event promoter Charlie Cobble explained the details as the covers were removed and owners answered questions from admiring spectators. Of course the other 540-plus vehicles were also the center of attention throughout the weekend, along with manufacturers’ displays, swap meet vendors, and food concessions. While the Iceman entertained the crowd with music and trivia, the talented team from Showoff Productions was judging the collection of vehicles in anticipation of the Saturday afternoon awards ceremony. With more than 280 trophies displayed on stage, the odds of winning were good. After dozens of door prizes were given out and several traditional awards were presented, the 10 class winners were called to the stage to receive their trophies and surprised with hundred dollar bills. The two top contenders were next with Robin Funke receiving his tall trophy as the Overall Points Champion and Justin Faust receiving the Pat Ford Best in Show award.
